Revenue Summit

The Australia Institute is holding a Revenue Summit in Canberra on 17 October to assess public spending needs and address the available revenue raising options to meet them. Stakeholders from across health, education and infrastructure service provision will come together to discuss current public services, and present their vision for what public services Australia could provide in the future. Economists and taxation experts will discuss revenue raising options to meet our public spending needs, including increasing current taxation, introduction of new taxes, and increasing public debt to fund public services.
