ESA (ACT) First Friday Economics
Speaker: Jason Lange OBPR
March 2021
Please note change of venue for this event!
Due to current restrictions and COVID-related protocols, we have had to move this event to a new, bigger location. It will now be held at the Allan Barton Forum at the ANU College of Business and Economics, located at Level 2, CBE Building 26C, Kingsley Street. Basically, it is the building behind our usual location if you’re coming from the city.
The Research School of Economics at the ANU and the ACT Branch of the Economic Society of Australia wish to invite you to the March edition of First Friday Economics (FFE). FFE is an exciting initiative aimed at enriching the professional and social lives of Canberra economists. We aim to provide a congenial setting, on the first Friday of every month, to allow the interaction of mainly young Canberra economists, with a major Canberra economist invited to give a short address. Finger food and drinks provided free of charge.
For the inaugural 2021 event in March, we are pleased to have Jason Lange speaking on the role of economists in public policy through Regulatory Impact Analysis using an applied example that is highly topical and current.
Finger food and drinks will be served
