ESA (ACT) First Friday Economics
Speaker: Cherelle Murphy - Austrade
May 2021
The Research School of Economics at the ANU and the ACT Branch of the Economic Society of Australia wish to invite you to the May edition of First Friday Economics (FFE). FFE is an exciting initiative aimed at enriching the professional and social lives of Canberra economists. We aim to provide a congenial setting, on the first Friday of every month, to allow the interaction of mainly young Canberra economists, with a major Canberra economist invited to give a short address.
For the May event, we are pleased to have the Chief Economist at Austrade, Cherelle Murphy, speaking on ‘Tourism: then, now, and what’s next?”.
Cherelle is the Chief Economist at Austrade leading a team of economists and data analysts and engineers to guide government policy in the trade, foreign investment and tourism sphere.
Note: In 2021 we have changed the event location to a bigger room in an adjacent building.
Food and drinks compliant with ANU COVID policies will be provided
