Professional Members: Presentation by Ross Muir - Northern Australia

The Economic Society of Australia (ACT) would like to invite our Professional Members to a presentation on Northern Australia on Thursday 28 July 2022 from 6.30 pm. We are holding a dinner at the beautiful Commonwealth Club with invited guest Ross Muir.

Ross Muir is an Economic Development Adviser at Nexidel Consulting. Ross is an experienced Economic Development Specialist with a demonstrated history of working with developing Asian economies and Northern Australia, including in the management consulting industry. He was formerly Senior Advisor for the Federal Government’s Northern Australia Task Force which prepared the White Paper on developing Northern Australia. Ross was Director of the Northern Territory Government’s Growth Planning Unit. An economist by training, he worked with AusAID as a Director of various Asian aid programs for 20 years. Before that, he served in Jakarta as an Australian diplomat. He will be giving a presentation on Northern Australia.
