ESA (ACT) Federal Budget 2025-26 Analysis
Guest Speakers: Peter Martin and Melissa Coade
Peter Martin will provide an analysis of the 2025-26 Federal Budget in the light of an impending election and the current changeable international challenges that the Federal Government is facing. Melissa will provide her perspective on the budget and its implications.
Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.

About Peter Martin
Peter Martin is an active ESA member and currently presenter of the ABC's Radio National morning program “the Economy, Stupid” and business and economics correspondent for the ABC.
Peter Martin formerly worked as the Business and Economy Editor for The Conversation and a visiting fellow at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University.
A former Commonwealth Treasury official and economics editor of The Age, he has reported economics since 1985.
He has been reporting on and analysing the federal budget for many decades, and will provide his expert perspective on the 2025-26 Federal Budget to be delivered on Tuesday 25th March.
