The theme of this year’s conference is AI in Economics.
You will hear from academics and policymakers explore how AI is changing economic analysis, policy development and decision making in government, and what this means for productivity and the workforce.
As AI adoption moves from experimentation to scalable action, you will hear about case studies grounded in practice, applied studies, empirical findings, evaluation results and lessons about what has and has not worked.
Topics may include: AI for economic analysis; AI, productivity and the workforce; AI for policy and decision making; and monitoring and evaluating AI adoption.
The conference will adhere to Chatham House rules to allow speakers to freely discuss these live topics within the public service. This event is meant for public sector economists, academia and researchers in the field of topic, and Economic Society members; not for the general public. Please register via your professional email.
