The seminar will be a partner event between the University of Canberra and the Economic Society of Australia\, ACT Branch&nbsp\;&nbsp\;with guest presenters&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Dr. John Hawkins and Professor Stephen Bartos.
Two leading UC fiscal and monetary policy experts have been commissioned by The Conversation to analyse the Budget.&nbsp\; They will be in the&nbsp\; Budget lockup all day on Budget day.&nbsp\; Their articles will published soon after the Treasurer finishes his budget speech that night.&nbsp\; A few days later\, at this seminar\, John and Stephen will have fully digested the budget and other economists' reactions to it and can deliver considered opinions on its strengths and weaknesses.
